I know the feeling a little too well.
The feeling when you start to say something
over and over and over again,
but no one cares.
You drop it.
Your head goes blank
and your heart feel empty.
You feel a chill travel from
your chest to your feet.
You are in slow motion,
though everyone else seems perfectly fine.
I know this feeling all too well.
