I make these playlists. I make them for myself to listen to in the present and to look back on from the future.
One night, my friend Emma and I had a conversation discussing the very nature of this art.
It feels so influential having connected with someone through music. I always gravitate towards people who share similar music tastes as me, because mine is unlike most people that I have met.
Creating playlists is something I take pride in doing. I have an overwhelming amount of playlists, each of which correlate to different feelings. When I look back on playlists I made a couple of
months ago, a year ago, or even 5 years ago, I
am looking into a window of my past self.
I have played the violin for twelve years and am currently learning how to play the piano. The same creative energy that is used when making music itself is displayed in making a playlist.
